Great series, came almost perfectly. I was worried that the box may end up being damaged, but it only have very minor damage on the corners which is expected. The manga themselves are perfect, no damage at all. It's a must for dragon ball fans.
Pages are typical manga, quality is typical manga. Let’s not lie, everyone buys this for the content. It’s dragonball Z mostly unedited, in probably the best formatting you can get in the states… as for the box set, it’s beautiful and looks great on any shelf. Idk if I’ll ever read them bc I don’t wanna bend the binding, so they’re just shelf candy, but man are they good shelf candy. Any dragonball fan would be happy to have these.
I havent read the dbz manga since i was a kid. It was awesome going through it again. There are a couple of small problems with the set. On a couple of volumes the spine is not aligned properly and you can see either a portion of the back or front of the volume. Some of the individual issues within the volumes are very dark making it hard to see what exactly is going on. I believe these issues were originally printed in color so there is not much that could be done short of it being in color. Overall the set is great and a steal for $150.
My husband has been wanting this set for awhile and I bought it for his birthday!
