The book came in the mail beat up. Doesnt look new but maybe thats from poor shipping. Bigger box wouldve been better. Box was even tore up looking
Bought this review book in preparation for my exam. Read it a few times,took the practice tests at the end until I passed all of them and then started on the online study guide that is included. Long story short, I passed the exam and even got a pretty solid score ! If you are looking to challenge the CT Registry, this is exactly what you need!
Listen... I scheduled my exam for about a month out. I read through through the main chapters image production, and rad procedures ONE TIME. I had a lot of stuff going on so I stopped studying. Lo and behold I called the day before to reschedule my exam and they told me it was too late. So I stayed up all night and crammed. I read through the whole book again that night, tried to memorize as many images as I could in the procedures. I went in the next day just knowing that I was probably not going to pass but I made a freaking 75. It wasnt a great score but it was a passing score. Do with this information, what you will.
Just passed my Ct boards, Not proud of my preliminary score, but im happy this book really helped me get through. The anatomy pictures are very helpful and I highly recommend. If you’re wondering, scored a 78. Passing is a win for me.
I purchased this in addition to CT Tech Bootcamp online and while the program itself was fantastic, it was more of a generalized teaching. Mosby’s REALLY helps you grasp the details in foundational concepts and understanding the theory and application behind the larger ideas. Couldn’t have gotten the 95% on my Registry without it!
